Interests and Expertise

During my time at the University of Maryland, the University of Kansas, and Indiana University Bloomington, I developed and taught a broad range of undergraduate political science courses.

Original Courses

I am trained in comparative politics, conflict studies, democratization, social movements, and institutions and am more than qualified to teach those topics. I have an extensive background, both academic and professional, in Middle East studies and terrorism studies. Finally, I also have academic training in religion and politics with a specialization in Islam and Judaism.
